Infinity calendar: The discovery of Seura’s young talent Atreya Ghosal has created an uproar in the region. As a proof of his immense knowledge in mathematics, he created a remarkable calendar, where not only the current year, but the day and date of any year can be easily found. This ‘infinity calendar’ has already been patented, which can play an important role in preventing paper wastage and protecting the environment.
He had a special interest in mathematics since childhood. Also, he has already proved his worth by winning various awards at national and international levels. He came up with the idea of making this calendar for a college project while studying B.Sc at Manipal University, Jaipur. After 7 continuous days of tireless work, he was able to create this extraordinary calendar.

A huge amount of paper is used to produce calendars every year, which is harmful to the environment. Atrey’s invention will help prevent paper wastage and play an important role in environmental protection.
How does the calendar work?
Atreya said he mastered the pattern of how the calendar repeats in different years and created this calendar after a lot of research. His college authorities and grandfather helped him in this task.

Although currently made of cardboard, Atrey plans to make the calendar out of plastic or some other material in the future to reach more people.

Atrey’s mother Shyamoli Ghoshal is proud of her son’s remarkable achievement . He said that since childhood, his son had a keen interest in mathematics and he loves to research various subjects.
