Kanyashree University Launches Skill Development and NET/SET Coaching for Women’s Empowerment

Kanyashree University in West Bengal is spearheading a commendable initiative to empower women by offering a range of skill development courses and coaching for the National Eligibility Test (NET) and State Eligibility Test (SET). This move aims to equip female graduates with the necessary tools to become self-reliant and professionally competent after completing their college education.

The university has published a notification on its website, outlining the details of these new programs. Graduates will have the opportunity to enroll in various skill development courses designed to enhance their professional readiness. These courses will focus on practical areas such as communicative English, spoken Sanskrit, introductory Spanish, and other relevant subjects. Additionally, for those aspiring to pursue careers in academia, the university will provide comprehensive coaching for the NET and SET examinations.

Two Key Programs on Offer

Kanyashree University will offer two distinct certificate programs:

NET/SET Coaching: This program is designed to prepare students for both Paper I and Paper II (subject-specific) of the NET/SET examinations. Any graduate, including current students or alumni of recognized institutions, is eligible to apply. Classes will be held on Saturdays and Sundays, with a course fee of ₹1,100.

Skill Development Courses: These courses cover a diverse range of subjects, including Communicative English, Spoken Sanskrit, Spanish (Introductory Level), Folklore & Tribal Lore Studies, and Health & Counseling Services. The fees for these courses range from ₹2,100 to ₹3,600.

Both programs will be offered in online and offline modes, with classes scheduled for the evenings to accommodate students’ convenience.
