Durgapur’s ‘Bindu’: Durgapur is once again in the limelight, thanks to director Shirshendu Sarkar’s short film, “Bindu,” which has added another feather to his cap. At a film festival held at the Sealdah Rammohan Library in Kolkata, organized by ‘Tech Touch Entertainment,’ “Bindu” won the prestigious award for Best Child Artist.
The festival, which ran from 2:00 PM to 7:30 PM, featured “Bindu” on stage at 7:15 PM. The film captivated the audience with its compelling storyline and powerful performances. A special mention goes to Aniruddha Lohar, the child actor who brought the main character to life with his remarkable acting, earning him the “Best Child Artist” title. In addition to this, the film was also recognized as the Best Short Film Art.
The prize distribution ceremony took place from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM, where it was officially announced that Shirshendu Sarkar’s “Bindu” had secured the top position in the state.
